Shut Down and Reboot tiles in windows 8
Windows 8 has many cool features. One of them is the start screen interface. Here whatever program you installed in your computer, those program's tiles you will find. So you can access them by clicking on these tiles. Now you can add shutdown and reboot tiles here just by following these simple steps.
1. For adding shutdown tiles.
1. Right click on the desktop
2. Choose new->shortcut
3. Enter shutdown /p in location
4. Click next and finally on finish button.
5. Now you will see a shortcut on desktop. Right click it and choose pin to start.
*NOTE: To display tiles on start screen you have to pin it to start.
2. For adding reboot tiles
Similarly for reboot
1. Right click on the desktop
2. Click on new->shortcut
3. Enter shutdown /r /t 0 in location
4. Click on next and finish.
5. Right click on the shortcut on the desktop and choose pin to start.
You will find both tiles on your windows 8 start screen.
