How to remove shortcut virus from pendrives
You may have observed many a times that all the files and folders in your pendrive have turned into shortcuts. Its a very annoying virus. All your original files and folders gets hidden and you cant access them many a times. So friends today I have brought you a simple trick to remove the shortcut virus from your pendrives. You will be able to copy your original data from your pendrives.
What are we going to do??
We are going to use Command Prompt or CMD to achieve this. We are going to type a code and the virus would be gone.
Just follow these simple steps:
Step 1.
Insert your pendrive and check for the virus.
Step 2.
Check your drive letter. For ex here it is H:.

Step 3.
Open cmd or command prompt by typing cmd in start menu.
Step 4.
Now type attrib -h -r -s /s /d h:\*.* and press enter.

Step 5.
Now check your pendrive. Shortcut virus should have gone from your pendrive.
Actually the virus exists on your pc not in the pendrive so keep your antivirus up-to-date to avoid this annoying virus.
